2024 Food Drive Initiatives

In 2024, the AAA Foundation's Annual Food Drive proudly partnered with Move for Hunger to deliver a comprehensive and impactful program. Our 2024 goal was to raise enough funds to provide 1,300 meal kits for holiday meals. These kits were assembled by volunteers and distributed to local families and community partners in need.

Key Events

  • Meal Packing Event: Volunteers came together on November 14 at the AAA office to assemble meal kits designed to provide a holiday meal experience, complete with recipes and essential ingredients.
  • Delivery Day: On November 15, the meal kits were distributed to our community partners, including the Housing Authority City of Austin, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Foundation Communities, and SAFE Austin.

Move for Hunger ensured a seamless process from preparation to distribution, leveraging the resources of moving companies and supplier partners for efficient delivery.
