Membership Information

Industry membership is for individuals or companies that own, develop, build, operate, or manage apartments or residential rental housing properties in Austin.

Those seeking membership in the “Industry” classification must also provide at the time of application, a list of all residential rental properties that are owned, operated, built, developed, and/or managed by Industry member within the eleven-county jurisdiction of the Association.  Annual membership dues shall be paid based upon such list. 

AAA membership is annual, (January-December), and membership dues are based on how many total units (aka doors) are in the portfolio, in our 11-county region. Administrative fees may apply at the time of application.

• • • 0, or 10 units or less = $300 annually  

    • 11-2,000 total units = $375 base fee + $2.25 per unit  

    • More than 2,001 units = $475 base fee + $2.00 per unit

Please note: AAA membership is paid annually for each calendar year (January-December), and prorated in the second year. 

• If your company joins prior to October 1st dues will be the equivalent of one full year of membership, and a pro-rated renewal invoice for the next year will be billed in November.
• If your company joins on or after October 1st your dues payment will include a prorated amount for the remainder of the given year plus the next year's dues.

A Products & Services (Supplier) member is a company that provides a product or service to multifamily Industry Members. When your company joins AAA, any employee can participate, volunteer and network with our members.

AAA membership dues run on a calendar dues renewal cycle (January-December). Your membership allows you access to events, networking opportunities and professional development. Administrative fees may apply with your initial application.
