The Austin Apartment Association is hosting our first Juneteenth Celebration put on by the DE&I Working Group on June 13th. This event aims to celebrate members in our association, spread awareness on the significance of Juneteenth and bring association members together.

Dr. Leah Brock-White is an inspiring healer and educator. A native of St. Louis, MO, she is an alumnus of Xavier University of Louisiana and Texas Health and Science University. Dr. Brock-White received her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, specializing in burn rehabilitation with a belief that “The healing process is NEVER pretty, but it is always BEAUTIFUL.”
As the owner and founder of ChosenEyes, LLC, Dr. Brock-White empowers others through compassion, helping clients and students embrace their spiritual gifts while diligently working to transcend negative stereotypes surrounding Black practitioners of the spiritual arts. In her spare time, she enjoys all things Star Trek, reading, astrology, cooking, and stand-up comedy.
