Community Housing Benefits Programs

The Austin Apartment Association (AAA) has partnered with various community organizations aimed at providing housing benefits to their staff. Through these collaborations, we strive to make housing more accessible and affordable for those who serve our community.

The Apartner in Safety Alliance program aims to connect the community by providing more opportunities for first responders to live in multifamily properties across the city, improve the safety of multifamily buildings and strengthen the relationship between Austin residents and the first responders that serve them.
Apartner in Safety Alliance offers exclusive housing benefits to Austin first responders (Police, Fire and EMS) through partnerships with Austin Apartment Association members. These benefits can include discounted rent, waived fees, move-in specials, and more, aimed at making housing more affordable and asscessible for our first responders.
You can learn more about the program, and view a webinar on the program here

Beyond housing, members will also have the option to host a community engagement event and receive a property walkthrough from the Austin Police Department.  AAA will be available to assist with community engagement events as needed and coordinate with members to receive their walkthrough.
