AAA Endorses Mayor Kirk Watson for a Second Term

Posted By: Hannah Garcia Article of the Week,

The Austin Apartment Association is proud to announce that we have endorsed Mayor Kirk Watson for a second term.

In his two years as mayor, Kirk Watson has proven he is a leader dedicated to serving the entire Austin community. During his tenure he has spearheaded policy to combat homelessness, build up our construction workforce, and improve public safety. These are just a few of the accomplishments he has achieved in his short term.

Additionally, he has consistently worked with members of the Austin Apartment Association to address their concerns and policy priorities. The association looks forward to continuing to work with the mayor and his team.

We want to thank all our members who participated in this process and spent time meeting with and reviewing all candidate for mayor. Local elections are an important part of maintaining Austin as one of the greatest cities to live in.
